Minnesota Rural Urban Connections Video Conferences

We began simply, to collect through a series video conferences held across the state, the stories, examples and experiences you had of rural urban connections in businesses, food and agriculture, arts, health care, education, telecom & information technology, workforce development, energy, environment, and other areas that emerged from these conversations and idea-sharing opportunities. Below is a list of the Video Conferences that were held between January and June, 2010.

Project partners seek to develop a new model of development based on mutual need and opportunity rather than the model of competition and race to the bottom that has often defined much of development in the last 20 years. Through this new approach, communities may find better synergies and opportunities while forging new partnerships across this divide to establish new endeavors that will create more resilient local, regional and national economies. MN Rural Partners will hold a series of videoconferences and meetings to examine issues and opportunities. All are invited to attend and participate.
